About Us: Founded in 1976 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, we opened our first group home in May of that year. Today, we operate 12 group homes and support over 50 individuals in our Independent Living Services program. Our mission is to support people with disabilities to live empowered lives.
Job Description: The Residential Nurse coordinates and provides for the medical needs of persons with disabilities in Bear Creek Services’ residential settings. This position is responsible for integrating health needs into the person-centered plan of individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Provides and coordinates nursing care and medical support to individuals supported
- Provides oversight for medication handling
- Supports Program Manager and Directors in care planning
- Trains staff on medication administration and medical supports as needed
- Collaborate with medical professional to ensure proper cares
- Computer skills required
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN) graduate from an accredited school
- Experience with people with developmental disabilities desirable
- Current Licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance
- Current CPR certification

Starting Pay Range: $26-$27 per hour
