Bear Creek Services is actively in search of a Marketing and Development Director to oversee the marketing, development, and fundraising efforts to support our mission of empowering the lives of adults with disabilities.
Position Overview:
The Marketing and Development Director strategizes and executes plans to enhance the organization’s visibility and attract supporters.

- Display ambition to build relationships within the community to enhance Bear Creek Services’ outreach for networking and fundraising.
- Collaborate with the finance department and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct fundraising programs and secure financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Cultivate relationships with major donors and seek grant opportunities to support organizational goals.
- Research and compose grant proposals to secure funding for Bear Creek Services from private foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the company website, social media platforms, public relations materials, and brochures in adherence with regulations to enhance the organization’s image.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to achieve financial and marketing objectives.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Two years of fundraising and/or donor development experience.
- Non-profit experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Bear Creek Services is a non-profit organization based in Rochester, MN, providing essential services to approximately 100 adults with disabilities. Established in 1976 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, the organization currently oversees 13 group homes and an independent living services program.

Starting Salary:
$60,000 – $67,000 annually
