About Us: Founded in 1976 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, we opened our first group home in May of that year. Today, we operate 12 group homes and support over 50 individuals in our Independent Living Services program. Our mission is to support people with disabilities to live empowered lives.
Job Description: As a Direct Support Professional, you will enrich the lives of adults with disabilities within our community. You will help individuals find and connect to interests, people, places, and hobbies.
Responsibilities:
- Helping individuals complete their goals
- Providing personal care as needed
- Taking individuals to outings in the community
- Cooking and cleaning as needed
- Dispensing medications
- Basic computer skills required
Requirements:
- Must be age 18+ and have a valid Minnesota driver’s license
- Must pass a background study and motor vehicle record review
