What will you be doing?
The direct care staff of Bear Creek Services provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities (which may include additional issues such as Traumatic Brain injuries, mental illness, Alzheimer's, and other medical needs). Direct care staff functions as an advocate, guide, teacher and companion in accordance with individual program plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
bullet18 years of age or older
bulletValid Minnesota Drivers license
bulletProof of car insurance
bulletPass a criminal background check
bulletSufficient English skills (verbal, written and comprehension) with which to effectively perform duties
bulletBe able to work with males and females to do all necessary personal cares
bulletMeet the job requirements listed in the job description
bulletPass and maintain CPR certification
bulletPass the agency medication administration certification program
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
bulletHigh School graduate or G.E.D.
bulletPost High School training from an accredited program resulting in a degree, certification or licensure in:

Human Services
Certified Nursing
Child Development
Licensed Practical Nurse
Or other associate degree

bulletPrefer previous experience in a related field, but will provide training to qualified candidates.
